This is very cool. This “Yarkovsky effect” was being measured on Asteroid Bennu recently.
Based on a very small Yarkovsky effect, the impact on the orbit of an orbiting body can be significant.
Yarkovsky effect:
1. Radiation from asteroid’s surface
2. Prograde rotating asteroid
2.1 Location with “Afternoon”
3. Asteroid’s orbit
4. Radiation from Sun
